So far this summer has lived up to all my expectations and exceeded past summers by miles. I’ve lounged on the Jersey shore, lounged at my lake house, had awesome parties, got a wicked tan, saw a concert, ate tons of ice cream… the list goes on. I never, ever want this summer to end!
But then it hits me. It’s August. Summer’s almost gone. That makes me really sad–sadder than you know, dear reader. But us children of the summer can never let autumnal blues creep in during the waning summer days and nights of August! The leaves have not changed their color yet! I smell no turkey in the oven and see no children harassing me for candy on my front door step! This is the time where every year you must take your stand against the Hallmarks selling Christmas ornaments and the Stop & Shops selling Halloween candy! Revel in the last days of summer by doing everything you said you were going to do but didn’t. Do the epic things, the crazy things and the simple things before the frost creeps in. Here’s your ultimate guide to cherishing the last days of summer. Rock on my fellow freaks! Do not go Gentle into that cold winter! Rage Rage against the dying of the summer!

That’s a pretty awesome list of things you could do. I’m a little bit biased but I’ll say that kitesurfing fits nicely under your last option of trying something new.
