Like Alberto’s Facebook page and you can follow him as he spends his days frolicking around his home city, Rome, Italy. Your newsfeed will be filled with a perfect and entertaining combination of adorable tiny dogness mixed with Roman colors, architecture, food and life. Alberto is frequently seen in the beautiful neighborhood of Trastevere, either out to eat, meeting friends, or just exploring the streets on his own. According to his Facebook profile he was born in a record store (which explains his love of music) in 2001, making him around 12 years old now, and is named after Alberto Sordi. He also enjoys playing in the park, and taking trips to the sea or to the mountains, and don’t worry, he posts plenty of pictures from his vacations too. Being such an active poster, it’s no wonder this popular pup already has 950 Likes for his page.

If you enjoy all the places that Alberto visits on his average day, you should also follow the Facebook page of the same contributor dedicated to the neighborhood of Trastevere. This beautiful area is exactly what you dream of when someone says Rome- narrow cobblestone roads lined with pink, yellow and orange buildings and plenty of amazing bars, restaurants and shops, but not usually as overly crowded as some other tourist popular areas on the opposite side of the Tiber River like the Trevi Fountain area or anywhere near the Colosseum.

So in summary, if at the moment you can only fulfill your wanderlust digitally online, if you love super cute animals, if you long for beautiful places, then let Alberto be your virtual tour guide of sorts.

American by chance, but Roman by choice, Sarah is currently feeding her adventurous soul with expatriatism and pizza. Her finest moments are always on the wrong bus with a backpack and an upside down map, waiting to see what the world’s got for her next, so long as she can blog about it. She likes writing more than talking, dolphins more than humans, old movies more than new, and Rome more than anything else.
