Once you have taken on the “backpacking through Europe” adventure that is on everyone’s bucketlist, you are one of the lucky ones who actually made it happen. You saved the money, bought the tickets, mastered the Eurail pass, and have had the busiest most sleepless month of your life so far. Now that you’re home, you’ve probably started planning your next trip (wherever it may be). You’ve planned coffee and lunch dates on the daily to catch up and share all your new stories with your friends back home. You’ve spent hours napping catching up from all the sleepless nights in Europe. You’ve found new travel websites and travel blogs that you are constantly adding to your favorites so you can be prepared for your next exploration. But soon enough, the first few weeks back home will pass. Your friends have already heard all of your stories three times. You have to go back to school or work. The trip was over months ago, and it only keeps getting farther and farther away. The routines of real life and responsibility overwhelm you with daily stress. After all of this, you’re starting to get the urge to travel again. These are the signs that yes, you definitely should go abroad again.
